Wire wrapping is one of the oldest ways humans have made jewelry — no solder, no casting, no heat. Just tension, patience, and a pair of steady hands.
Every piece at House of Fern begins as a straight length of wire. We bend it around mandrels, around bead after bead, around itself. Each coil locks the last one in place, so the finished piece is held together entirely by its own history.
If you look closely at your piece, you can read it like handwriting: the tight coils made early in the morning, the looser flourishes from late afternoon. We think that is the beauty of it — the maker is still in there.
